About the position

We're looking for a Product Designer to help us improve our digital platforms for patients and staff. You will be working to define and build products that have a positive impact on the health and well-being of our patients. This position will have you work onsite in Hillcrest, San Diego, including some travel to locations within San Diego County, with the flexibility to work remotely depending on your assignments. In this role, you will plan and conduct user research in clinics across San Diego, along with research in other departments to improve internal tools. You will take charge of the entire UX design process, including conducting research, understanding user needs and problems, and designing effective solutions. Your responsibilities will include creating key UX deliverables like user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes. You will collaborate closely with fellow designers, engineers, researchers, and stakeholders across the company. Your goal will be to transform research findings into actionable product improvements and solutions, contributing to building a process for high-quality user research and design.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct user research in clinics across San Diego.

Requirements

  • Experience in UX research and design.
  • Knowledgeable in user experience best practices and UI industry standards for interface design.
  • Familiarity with user testing methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills to advocate for user and stakeholder needs.
  • Ability to navigate uncertainty and adapt methodologies to fit the problem space.
  • Capability to plan work across concurrent projects.

Nice-to-haves
