About the position

As a Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in transforming complex information and tasks into user-friendly designs. Your expertise in design techniques such as storyboarding and sketching will be essential for effectively communicating design concepts. A deep understanding of the UX process, which includes research, conceptual design, prototyping, and testing, is a must-have for this position. You will be expected to lead the creation of product experiences independently while also seeking feedback from peers and internal subject matter experts (SMEs). This role requires a holistic approach to design, ensuring that end-to-end experiences are delivered seamlessly. You will be tasked with solving complex problems and collaborating with others to merge solutions into a cohesive design ecosystem. Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends is vital to your success in this role. Your responsibilities will include working on e-commerce websites and mobile applications, where you will apply systems thinking and excellent communication skills. You will have a track record of deploying user interface standards and conventions, creating functional communication flows, and designing dynamic, engaging interfaces. A strong understanding of design theory and concepts will enable you to create effective visual communication with a focus on hierarchy and balance, utilizing typography, color, space, and contrast. You will also be expected to work with design templates and patterns, manage multiple tasks, and deliver high-quality work under pressure. Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills are essential, as is experience in designing for both mobile and web-based product environments. Prior experience working on a cross-functional team through the product design process to launch is also required. Familiarity with tools such as Figma and Journey Maps is a must, while experience with prototyping tools like Flinto, Framer, Marvel, or Principle is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Figma, Journey Maps, and UX processes.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with prototyping tools such as Flinto, Framer, Marvel, or Principle.
