About the position

An eCommerce client of TEKsystems is looking to add a Product Designer to join their Customer Experience team supporting web and mobile initiatives within their health and wellness pillar. This is a Lead Product Design Role with a focus on Design Strategy, Design Vision, UX, and UI and is primarily focused on providing a long-term vision along with shorter-term “MVP” deliverables in our Health and Wellness space. On this strategically important project, you will collaborate with product development stakeholders (e.g., product and technical managers, other designers, technical writers, developers, and end-users) while crafting innovative design driven solutions. Collaboration is a huge part of this role. Being able to craft and sell in a strong vision is equally important. You will augment the team's current capacity to support roadmap work primarily in the “Digital Eco System" space across App, Web, and in-store. This is truly an omnichannel design opportunity since most transactions that start online end up in-store.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product development stakeholders to craft innovative design-driven solutions.
• Provide a long-term vision along with shorter-term MVP deliverables in the Health and Wellness space.
• Support roadmap work primarily in the Digital Eco System space across App, Web, and in-store.
• Craft and sell a strong design vision to various stakeholders.
• Work closely with other designers, technical writers, developers, and end-users.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of solid, hands-on design experience.
• A portfolio that contains real design work that has been put into production.
• Multiple portfolio examples that are presented with depth, backed up by interactive prototypes.
• A formal design education or a minimum of 5 years proven design experience.
• A solid track record of cross-team collaboration with Digital Product, Development, and Business teams.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with iOS, Android, and Web standards.
• Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and other related design applications.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working for larger companies or within larger teams.
• Digital agency experience is a strong plus.
• Enthusiasm and a curiosity for solving problems.
