About the position

Moose Toys exists to make kids superhappy, and as a Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in this mission. This position is focused on producing highly creative and original conceptual designs for product and graphic design applications, particularly for licensed brands. You will be responsible for creating concept illustrations and presenting new product ideas to licensors, the internal team, and senior management. Your role will also involve regular communication with licensors throughout the product development cycle, including answering questions, providing status updates, and submitting ideas using the appropriate licensing program. In addition to conceptual design, you will apply your prototyping skills to create models in both 2D and 3D formats. You will assist in developing storylines, games, and additional products that expand the toy range. Providing basic production direction is also part of your responsibilities, which includes creating drawings to help model makers produce 3D representations of your designs. Collaboration with outside vendors will be essential, as you will manage their timelines and deliverables to ensure the successful execution of projects. This position is not just about creativity; it also requires a strong understanding of the toy industry, particularly experience with dolls, plush toys, activities, and collectibles. Responsibilities

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
• Toy industry experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
• Experience with dolls, plush, activities, and collectibles required.
• Experience working on licensed items required.
