As a Product Designer at Flip.shop, you'll be directly reporting to and partnering with our CEO and founder, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of social commerce. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design seamless, user-centric interfaces that will revolutionize the online shopping experience. Responsibilities

  • Create exceptional designs: From user flows to wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals, you'll turn complex problems into delightful user experiences.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to bring designs to life.
  • User-Centered Approach: Advocate for the end-user at every stage of the product development process, leveraging feedback, data, and research to inform your design decisions.
  • Own the Design Process: From concept to execution, you'll take the lead in developing features that elevate the user experience on our platform.
  • Design in Figma: Work in Figma to create scalable, reusable design components and systems.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep up with the latest trends in consumer product design, ensuring our platform stays innovative and fresh.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in product design, preferably working on consumer products.
  • Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of user-centered design solutions.
  • Experience working closely with engineering and product teams to implement designs.
  • A problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity.
  • Attention to detail with a knack for turning complex interactions into simple, intuitive user experiences.
  • Experience conducting user research, testing, and iterating on feedback to optimize designs.
