About the position

Co-Star Astrology Society Inc is looking for a Product Designer to create engaging digital experiences across apps, websites, and other digital touchpoints. The role involves conducting user research, designing user interfaces, and collaborating with engineers to ensure the successful implementation of design concepts. The designer will also evolve the brand's visual language and gather user feedback to enhance the overall user experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research/interviews to find valuable insights and apply them by mapping out and testing digital experiences for users.
• Design interfaces according to industry standards and collaborate with engineers during build phases.
• Design in-app UI elements and experiences using industry best practices.
• Develop new feature concepts/experiences within the existing application.
• Provide consistent check-ins with internal stakeholders for review and feedback on graphic design and visual design processes and plans.
• Work alongside engineers for any design-related implementation issues/mitigations and to understand project specifications and time tables/technical constraints.
• Internally evolve the brand's visual language and system.
• Gather user feedback through conducting interviews and tests.
• Design visual assets that extend to other digital touch points for the brand.
• Report any bugs or design inconsistencies for quality assurance throughout any related projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic design, Fine Arts, Web Development, or any related Technical or Design field of study.
• One (1) year of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s).
• Demonstrable proficiency in Web UX.
• Professional experience with User Interface Design (UI), including visual design principles, typography, color theory, iconography, and layout design.
• Experience with Interaction Design, including microinteractions, animation principles, gesture-based interactions, and transition design.
• Proficiency in Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, InVision, Axure, Framer, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Git.
