About the position

The Product Designer role at Insight Global involves end-to-end UX/UI design for a customer-facing application. The position focuses on creating innovative designs and components for a design system, with a strong emphasis on user experience and interaction with physical products. The designer will collaborate with a Principal Designer and engage in various tasks including designing, stakeholder presentations, and conceptualizing future features.

Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end product design for application and product features.
• Engage in innovation and AI work related to the product.
• Utilize Figma to build patterns and design new components for the design system.
• Spend approximately 50% of time on design tasks, 25% on creating presentations for stakeholders, and 25% on concepting and innovating future features.
• Collaborate with a Principal Designer to own the end-to-end design process.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Product Designer in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with end-to-end UX design for consumer products, platforms, or services.
• Strong documentation skills covering the full UX design process including user research, usability testing, flow charts, journey mapping, prototypes, wireframing, mockups, and product briefings.
• Proficiency in Figma, with the ability to create components and build patterns.
• Advanced knowledge of design thinking, working within a design system, and design problem-solving.
• Experience with native mobile application design for iOS, Android, and web UI systems.
• Strong communication skills to work with stakeholders and present design ideas and solutions.
• Knowledge of information architecture, taxonomy, and page layout.
• A portfolio showcasing recent design work and the full design process.
• Ability to connect data insights to design work.
