About the position

The Sr Product Designer at Hanwha Techwin America Inc. will play a pivotal role in the software development process, contributing to the design and user experience of advanced network video surveillance products. This position involves creating mockups and prototypes, conducting market research, and analyzing user needs to enhance product functionality and aesthetics. The designer will work independently, navigating complex systems and ambiguous requirements to deliver innovative solutions that improve user experience across various applications.

Responsibilities

• Create mockups and prototypes based on formalized requirements.
• Conduct market research to understand user problems and needs.
• Test and analyze current implementations to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and insights on product enhancements.
• Design user interfaces for web, mobile, and desktop applications that integrate with hardware products.
• Maintain and apply design systems throughout the development process.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working as a product or UX/UI designer.
• Proficiency with Figma.
• Experience designing interfaces that were developed and shipped to actual users.
• Experience creating, maintaining, and applying design systems.
• Understanding of the software development process.
• Portfolio that demonstrates relevant experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Ability to create complex interactive prototypes with JS/Axure/ProtoPie/Origami or any other tool.
• Experience developing websites or mobile apps.
• Experience with motion or 3D graphics.
• Knowledge of the physical video security industry and/or video surveillance systems.
