About the position

The Product Developer at SharkNinja is responsible for driving the global product roadmap for haircare products from concept to shelf, ensuring high consumer satisfaction and business results. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product lines, conducting user research, and managing product specifications while advocating for consumer needs. The position requires a strong focus on sales performance and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for new product development and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support the Ninja business with the development of successful and profitable programs for key products.
• Drive product improvements and optimizations, conducting user research, and partnering with Engineers and Marketers.
• Define, develop, and iterate product specifications based on consumer wants and market needs.
• Take ownership of assigned categories' sales performance and recommend new product opportunities.
• Lead competitive product analyses to provide insights on product positioning against competitors.
• Share insights from consumers and the market with Product Developers to inform next generation products.
• Partner with Testing and Quality organizations to manage quality and performance testing procedures.
• Act as the product expert for cross-functional team member questions and concerns.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in product development, product marketing, or a related field, preferably in consumer goods.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong consumer-first perspective when introducing or improving products.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across multi-functional teams.
• Highly effective communication skills, both written and face-to-face.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
