As a dedicated Product Development Analyst at USAA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the end-to-end development of new Property and Casualty (P&C) product opportunities. Your primary responsibility will be to provide analytical support and conduct research on various products and opportunities, assisting with the rollout of new offerings. You will be accountable for analyzing performance across the product development life cycle, ensuring that the Product Development team and partners from other Centers of Excellence (COEs) have the necessary data to make informed strategic and tactical recommendations. This role requires you to define business questions and provide insights that will enhance business performance. In this position, you will support the development of digital-first products that cater to the needs and risks of USAA members. You will provide analytical support to develop strategies, launch new innovative product offerings, and refine existing products, including evaluating the decision to buy, build, or ally. Your creativity will be essential in generating product and coverage solutions that meet member needs, ensuring a dynamic product development pipeline. You will compile both internal and external data, along with member information, to support the formulation of product strategies and enhance competitive intelligence. Additionally, you will monitor and maintain existing products based on performance metrics, member needs, and competitive changes in the market. This includes analyzing new product performance metrics to adapt offerings as necessary before full launch. Coordination with relevant control partners, including Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management, will be vital to ensure that product offerings comply with all applicable laws and regulations. You will also be responsible for identifying, measuring, supervising, and controlling risks associated with business activities in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
