About the position

This position bridges the communication between market needs and the development teams to design and guide the development of TruBridge company applications. This requires the ability to evaluate market requirements and translate them into functional and design specifications. This role provides both business and technical expertise to support the analysis, design, and specification activities and deliverables for product development. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed meet the needs of the market and the users effectively. In addition to working as prescribed in our Performance Factors, specific responsibilities of this role include having an exceptional grasp of all duties below the level of Product Development Analyst. The candidate should possess a deeper understanding of industry needs and product design, with the ability to elicit and organize requirements from multiple sources. They must be adept at distilling or simplifying requirements to ensure clarity and understanding among team members. Interaction with clients and direct end-users may be required, necessitating effective communication skills. The role also involves defining non-functional requirements and creating user stories and personas to guide the development process. The candidate should be capable of providing clarity to developers on requirements with limited assistance from others, ensuring that the development team has a clear understanding of what is needed. Participation in feature acceptance testing and feature knowledge transfer (internal) is also a key aspect of this position, contributing to the overall success of the product development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow through on issues to resolution.
  • Ability to act both independently and as a team member.
  • 2 to 4 years of business analysis experience.
  • Experience working with business processes and re-engineering.
  • Knowledge of healthcare-based applications.
  • Experience with computer programming concepts.
  • Experience with interfacing/middleware technology.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in a program of study appropriate for assigned product domain.
  • Experience with enterprise software vendors (such as: McKesson, Cerner, SAP, Oracle) preferred.
