About the position

NVIDIA is seeking a hardware-focused Product Development Engineer specializing in memory to join their team in Austin, TX. This role involves leading the product engineering team in managing server and system/GPU memories, contributing to the development of GPU and memory characterization tools, and performing characterization on datacenter products. Responsibilities

• Define GPU and memory test methodology during New Product Introduction (NPI)
• Develop GPU and Memory characterization tools based on the defined methodology
• Build and maintain a characterization database
• Build new tests based on MODs or other applications
• Perform characterization on datacenter products, including failure analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• At least 10+ years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of memory protocols and interfaces, such as GDDR5, GDDR6, HBM, LPDDR, LPCAMM
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++ for memory characterization efforts
• Knowledge of MySQL/PHP, HTML/JAVA for development of memory characterization tools
• Knowledge of high-speed signaling principles and concepts
• Experience in the development of testing tools, such as system memory and CUDA-related applications
• Background in database development
• Experience in web design
