About The Position

The Product Development Leader at Corteva Agriscience is responsible for overseeing and leading the Product Development team focused on commercial agronomy software products. This role involves managing the entire product lifecycle from conception to launch, ensuring high-quality digital solutions are delivered. The leader will work closely with cross-functional teams and report directly to the VP of Agriculture Solutions, contributing to the strategic direction of digital solutions in agriculture.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in technical product management or software engineering, with a minimum of 7 years in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Track record of thought leadership and driving innovation.
  • Strong quantitative skills and experience in digital environments, including data systems and software development.
  • Ability to lead through influence in matrixed organizations.
  • Effective people leadership skills with a track record of developing teams.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the ag industry and Corteva's business.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a strong track record of delivering results.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead the development and deployment of external-facing digital products for customers, agents, and partners.
  • Set and manage clear timelines for delivery from design to launch.
  • Lead and prioritize the product lifecycle and engineering schedule.
  • Manage and maintain production environments, ensuring seamless data and model transitions.
  • Continuously monitor and manage technical debt.
  • Participate in team capital planning exercises, leading initiatives around software investments.
  • Effectively communicate concepts, project status, results, and emerging technology opportunities.
  • Focus on team and talent development, recruiting and retaining skilled team members.
