About the position

The Product Development Manager for Beverages at 7-Eleven, Inc. is responsible for supporting the development of new products, platforms, and packaging for the Private Brands business unit. This role involves leveraging consumer insights and market data to identify growth opportunities, collaborating with internal and external partners, and managing the product launch process.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of new products, platforms, and packaging for the Private Brands business unit.
• Cultivate consumer insights, market data, and trends to identify opportunities for growth.
• Translate the Private Brand Team's vision and strategy into a pipeline of innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to generate and proof documents for new item launches.
• Coordinate with supplier partners to provide product samples and sales sheet information for regional operational meetings.
• Generate post-launch item recaps on inventory levels, sales performance, and take rate opportunities.
• Organize and execute product sampling/tasting panels with potential consumers and in-house product reviews.
• Assist suppliers with the New Item Form submission process and validate forecasts with wholesale partners.
• Collect and archive critical documentation including product opportunity plans, item specifications, and financials.
• Assist in the analysis and presentation of existing and new item verification.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 2 years of experience in new product development or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience using marketing metrics and consumer insights to drive business decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Strong time-management skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
