About the position

The Product Development Manager for Electronics will oversee the entire product development process within a dynamic and innovative electronics manufacturing team. This role is crucial for managing product development from initial concept through to product launch, ensuring high standards of quality and compliance with regulatory requirements. The position offers the flexibility of remote or hybrid work arrangements and is ideal for candidates with a strong background in electronics, particularly in amplifiers and audio products.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing the entire product development process, including research and development (R&D), creating product requirements documents (PRD), and overseeing product launch.
  • Working closely with the R&D team to develop and test prototypes, ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Managing project plans and timelines, ensuring that all product development activities are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that all product development activities align with our overall business objectives.
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our product development processes and systems.
  • Utilizing project management tools such as Jira and Audio Precision to track and manage product development activities.
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including presenting product development updates to senior management and clients.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in product development within the electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in managing the entire product development process, from initial concept through to product launch.
  • Strong knowledge of R&D, including developing and testing prototypes.
  • Experience in managing project plans and timelines, and ensuring that all activities are completed on time and within budget.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards in the electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira and Audio Precision.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences.
  • Fluency in Mandarin would be a significant advantage.
