The manager will collaborate with diagnostic scan tool product managers and development managers to facilitate integrated builds and the delivery of installers and upgrade processes for scan tool software. Additionally, the manager will work with production factory teams to support the supply chain, including production, customer care, and repair depot operations. Collaboration with the Information Technology team is also essential for hosting deployments, which includes the delivery of run books and installers. A key aspect of this role is the development of team members through career development initiatives, skill improvement, and succession planning. The manager will contribute to the long-range strategy for software development, focusing on quality management, technical debt, and the technical stack. The role also requires the management and enhancement of key performance metrics for the software development team, ensuring that productivity and quality standards are met. The manager will oversee and sponsor Rapid Continuous Improvements, such as Lean Initiatives, to drive cost efficiency and improve overall team performance.
