About the position

The Product Development Manager will lead the Production Development team focused on creating innovative adhesives and coatings for packaging materials, emphasizing sustainability. This role is responsible for driving product development aligned with strategic business unit goals, managing resources effectively, and ensuring timely product launches while supporting intellectual property strategies.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Production Development team for adhesives and coatings.
• Drive the development of high-quality and innovative products.
• Identify new trends in packaging, adhesives, and coatings technology.
• Develop and implement processes for consistent Production Development.
• Support and execute the company's IP Strategy and manage intellectual property.
• Prioritize global and regional projects and assign resources accordingly.
• Ensure timely development, scale-up, and launch of products.
• Provide technical support to Manufacturing and Quality teams.
• Promote laboratory safety culture and best practices.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in a relevant technology or market.
• 5 years of experience in a related field.
• People management and leadership experience preferred.
• Proven track record in innovation management and commercial success.
• Knowledge of polyurethanes is preferred.
• Experience in technology scouting is preferred.
