About the position

The Product Development Manager at EnVogue is responsible for designing and developing innovative products in the bath, beauty, and workspace/stationary categories. This role involves conducting market research, collaborating with manufacturing partners, and ensuring high-quality standards for product lines. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating stylish and on-trend products that resonate with consumer preferences.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop product lines including candles, bath/beauty products, and stationary including packaging.
• Collaborate with the in-house design team to conceptualize and create new product ideas.
• Translate market trends and customer insights into innovative and on-trend designs.
• Conduct research to stay informed on current trends, consumer preferences, and industry developments.
• Analyze competitors and market demands to identify opportunities for new product designs.
• Work closely with manufacturing partners to ensure designs are feasible and align with production capabilities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales and production, to ensure seamless execution from concept to market.
• Oversee the quality and consistency of product samples.
• Address any design or production issues that arise during the development process.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
• Prepare and present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders for review and approval.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Product Development, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• 3+ years' experience in product design or development in home products, soft or hard goods.
• Strong understanding of design principles, trends, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CAD).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
