About the position

The Product Development Manager is a freelance position responsible for supporting Supply Chain and Product Development operations processes. This role focuses on data analysis and the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure efficient operations and adherence to critical deadlines. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to streamline processes and improve communication.

Responsibilities

• Support the creation of Global Product Development SOPs and process map documentation in collaboration with functional department leaders.
• Create, maintain, and troubleshoot process governance and analyze duplicate data to refine communication and accountability.
• Participate in onboarding company integrations with external partners, ensuring adherence to transition timelines and training.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts on tech projects and new system integrations, facilitating timelines and implementation workshops.
• Partner with PD department leaders and the BI team to draft report templates and support KIP metrics dashboards.
• Compile and distribute reports and data analysis for departmental meetings, including weekly and seasonal metrics.
• Support the PD Operations Manager in project management oversight and reporting for the Development organization.
• Lead onboarding efforts for new hires, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources.
• Assist designated Vice President(s) with special projects, including building presentations for leadership meetings.
• Coordinate key milestone meetings, department events, and supplier meetings.

Requirements

• College degree preferred or equivalent work experience in analytical or data management field.
• 3+ years of experience in a relevant role.
• Advanced PC skills, particularly in MS Office.
• Proficiency in Excel functions such as pivot tables and v-lookups.
• Ability to work with complex data tables.
• Experience in creating PowerPoint presentations.
• Familiarity with databases and project management.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Adaptability to learn new software systems related to job functions.
• Knowledge of the Product Development industry is preferred.
