About the position

The position is responsible for the development, maintenance, and management of select Finance and Insurance (F&I) product offerings at CNA National. The individual will operate as the subject matter expert for Ancillary products, managing the performance and effectiveness of the assigned product portfolio. This role requires coordination of project initiatives with management to ensure efficient, effective, and timely service to both internal and external customers. It is important to note that this is not an IT role; however, the individual will need to coordinate product development efforts with various departments including IT, Risk Management, Sales, and Marketing. The essential duties include overseeing the portfolio of Ancillary products, which encompasses the development and management of these offerings. The candidate will support product and program development through active management of the product development life cycle, which includes the development of the offering, coverages, launch strategy, revenue forecasts, and pricing. Collaboration with departmental stakeholders is crucial for developing new product introduction plans and securing regulatory approvals. The role also involves orchestrating product launches, publishing marketing materials, conducting sales training, preparing the services organization, and announcing new products. Post-launch product management functions are also a key responsibility, which includes conducting post-launch audits, tracking customer satisfaction, reassessing industry movements, conducting win-loss studies, and evaluating metrics and KPIs. The candidate will conduct product comparisons against identified competitors on a consistent basis, identifying opportunities and working with other departments, including sales, to develop actionable plans to leverage product differences. Additionally, collaboration with sales management to prepare short-term and long-term product sales forecasts for both existing and new products is expected. Staying up to date on trends and developments within the functional area of expertise and the industry is essential, as is conducting competitive analysis including market, competitors, and products.
