About the position

The Product Development Manager at Puget Sound Energy (PSE) is responsible for leading the development and management of product and service offerings related to the company's Energy Assistance Programs. This role involves gathering stakeholder requirements, conceptualizing new products, developing business plans, and managing the product lifecycle from design to launch. The manager will work across departments to support business cases, conduct market research, and negotiate with vendors, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Develops and champions product concepts by identifying customer challenges and current trends.
• Manages product roadmaps through engagement with external stakeholders.
• Leads internal teams to bring product concepts through approvals and to launch.
• Identifies market potential and pricing through quantitative testing and customer research.
• Leads operational planning, including vendor and partnership management.
• Establishes KPIs and reporting for product performance.
• Develops profit and loss statements and forecasts based on market research and vendor discussions.
• Leads market and sales planning, including go-to-market strategies and sales targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, engineering or related field.
• 7 years' experience in leading complex market/program/product analysis or product launch.
• Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
• Excellent organizational, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to lead financial modeling and advanced customer analytics.
• Strong project management skills and excellent communication skills.
