About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Development Manager to oversee the development and management of our product lines at NVM Pet, Inc. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, project management skills, and strong customer relationship management to drive product success, ensuring alignment with market demands and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify customer needs and market trends that inform product development.
• Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and launch of new products.
• Develop and implement strategic plans that align with business goals and enhance product offerings.
• Negotiate with vendors and stakeholders to secure resources and support for product initiatives.
• Collaborate with sales teams to develop effective sales strategies and training materials for new products.
• Utilize Salesforce and other software tools to track product performance metrics and customer feedback.
• Foster strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction with our products.
• Monitor competitors' activities and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements

• Proven experience in product management or related roles, demonstrating a strong understanding of the product lifecycle.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in strategic planning and business development is highly desirable.
• Excellent negotiation skills, with a track record of successful stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity with customer relationship management systems, particularly Salesforce, is a plus.
• A background in sales or marketing will be beneficial in understanding market dynamics.
