About the position

The Product Development Manager at Puget Sound Energy (PSE) is responsible for leading the development and management of product and service offerings related to the company's Energy Assistance Programs. This role involves gathering stakeholder requirements, conceptualizing new products, developing business plans, and overseeing the product lifecycle from design to launch and post-launch reviews. The manager will work across departments to support business cases, conduct market research, and manage vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Develops and champions product concepts by identifying customer challenges and market trends.
• Leads cross-functional teams to quantitatively test market potential and pricing for product concepts.
• Manages operational planning, including vendor and partnership management, to deliver products to customers.
• Develops profit and loss statements and forecasts based on market research and vendor discussions.
• Leads market and sales planning, identifying customer segments and go-to-market strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, engineering or related field.
• 7 years' experience in leading complex market/program/product analysis or product launch.
• Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven project management skills and ability to synthesize data into actionable deliverables.
