As a Product Development Project Manager at Hunter Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in managing the development of innovative products through collaboration with cross-functional teams. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful execution of multiple, simultaneous new product development projects. This includes overseeing discussions to clearly define project scopes, which encompass cost targets, product features, deadlines, and more. You will orchestrate all activities required for prototype builds, including the collection, categorization, and prioritization of feedback to drive efficient design iterations. Additionally, you will be responsible for collecting and recording key information from meetings, emails, and other media, ensuring that proper documentation practices are followed by project team members. Your ability to effectively mediate between conflicting departments, stakeholders, or project team members will be crucial in determining an agreeable direction for projects. You will also prepare and deliver executive-level communications summarizing project progress and proactively analyze and provide suggestions for improvements related to project management processes, tools, and resources.
