About the position

The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of multiple, simultaneous new product development projects within the automotive industry. This role involves overseeing and participating in discussions to clearly define the project scope, which will include cost targets, product features, deadlines, and other critical elements. The Project Manager will lead multiple cross-functional teams, ensuring that all team members are aligned and working towards common goals. Additionally, the Project Manager will oversee all activities required for prototype builds, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. In this position, the Project Manager will be expected to utilize their strong understanding of product development processes to guide teams through the various stages of project execution. This includes planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of projects. The role requires excellent time management and organizational skills to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. The Project Manager will also be responsible for fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration among team members, inspiring them to contribute their best ideas and efforts to the projects at hand.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong understanding of product development processes.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Proven leadership abilities to inspire innovation and motivate others.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Project Management Professional Certification.
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication and assembly processes.
• 5+ years of experience in Project Management.
• Experience with work management software.
