About the position

The Product Development Project Manager at Goodkind Co is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of product development projects, including new product launches, replenishments, repackaging, and reformulations. This role requires collaboration with various cross-functional teams to ensure projects are scoped, documented, and completed on time, while also providing support to the Sales team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and possess strong project management skills, with a focus on internal processes and client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

  • Organize, coordinate, and manage projects from the first inquiry to the launch.
  • Create and lead internal process development.
  • Develop project timelines and track key dates and deliverables accordingly.
  • Coordinate and communicate essential deadlines, project commitments, and quality requirements across departments.
  • Provide weekly status reports to internal teams and clients, highlighting areas of risk or potential roadblocks.
  • Schedule and provide agendas and meeting notes for all internal and external meetings.
  • Handle and resolve complex customer requests and/or complaints.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar project management certification (preferred but not required)
  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience, with 2-3 years in a project management role within a client service environment such as consulting services, marketing/advertising agencies, or software development companies.
  • Ability to multitask and execute under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, business planning, and project organization.

Nice-to-haves

  • Interest and/or experience in the beauty and personal care space, preferred but not required.
