About the position

The Product Development Senior Manager at Verizon is responsible for driving mobile growth through strategic initiatives focused on postpaid migrations and product launches. This role involves analyzing market conditions, developing promotional strategies, and collaborating with various functional teams to enhance customer experience and business performance. The manager will lead efforts in creating targeted campaigns, conducting post-promotion analyses, and ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing market conditions and performance across KPIs to uncover new growth opportunities.
  • Interpreting competitive information to formulate proactive and reactive promotional recommendations.
  • Driving new mobile line activations across various devices.
  • Designing comprehensive targeting strategies for revenue-generating campaigns.
  • Developing end-to-end promotional campaigns including ideation, execution strategy, and post-promo analysis.
  • Building presentations to communicate strategies and benefits to business objectives.
  • Developing annual marketing promotional roadmaps and guiding key marketing programs.
  • Facilitating proposal alignment between Finance and Marketing through business case development.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to create unique promotional campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience in the wireless or telecommunications industry.
  • Experience in marketing and finance-related roles such as market research, financial analysis, or strategic planning.
  • Experience working collaboratively with various stakeholders and presenting ideas.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Google affiliates.
  • Product management experience.

  • A Master's degree, preferably an MBA.
  • Experience working at or with OEMs.
  • Proven strengths in strategic and critical thinking.
  • Strong research, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
