About the position

The Product Development Senior Manager at Verizon is a strategic role focused on driving mobile growth through innovative promotional strategies and product launches. This position requires a blend of analytical skills, market insight, and collaboration across various functional teams to enhance customer experience and achieve business objectives. The manager will lead initiatives to accelerate postpaid migrations and optimize revenue-generating campaigns while ensuring alignment with executive leadership's goals.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing market conditions and deciphering performance across KPIs to uncover new opportunities for growth and revenue.
  • Interpreting competitive information to formulate promo recommendations and execute approved strategies.
  • Driving new mobile line activations across various devices.
  • Designing comprehensive targeting strategies to maximize revenue-generating campaigns.
  • Developing end-to-end promotional campaigns including ideation, financial business cases, execution strategy, and post-promo analysis.
  • Building presentations to communicate strategies and benefits to larger business objectives.
  • Developing annual marketing promotional roadmaps and guiding key marketing programs.
  • Facilitating proposal alignment between Finance and Marketing through business case development.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to develop unique promotional campaigns that differentiate Verizon in the industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience in the wireless or telecommunications industry.
  • Experience in marketing and finance-related roles such as market research, financial analysis, or strategic planning.
  • Experience working collaboratively with various stakeholders and presenting ideas effectively.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Google affiliates.
  • Product management experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • A Master's degree, preferably an MBA.
  • Experience working at or with OEMs.
  • Proven strengths in strategic and critical thinking.
  • Strong research, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
