About the position

In this highly visible role at Verizon, you will proactively identify opportunities to drive mobile growth, focusing on accelerating postpaid migrations from the Value base. You will also support product launches and the Mobile + Home space, formulating and executing strategies that enhance customer experience and deliver targeted promotional campaigns. This position requires collaboration across various functional teams to adapt strategies to meet evolving business and customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze market conditions and performance across KPIs to uncover new growth opportunities.
  • Interpret competitive information to formulate promotional recommendations and execute approved actions.
  • Drive new mobile line activations across voice, tablet, and wearables.
  • Design comprehensive targeting strategies to optimize revenue-generating campaigns.
  • Develop end-to-end promotional campaigns including ideation, financial business cases, execution strategy, and post-promo analysis.
  • Build presentations to communicate strategies and their benefits to larger business objectives.
  • Develop annual marketing promotional roadmaps and guide key marketing programs.
  • Facilitate proposal alignment between Finance and Marketing through business case development.
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop unique promotional campaigns that differentiate Verizon in the industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience in the wireless or telecommunications industry.
  • Experience in marketing and finance-related roles such as market research, financial analysis, pricing, product marketing, or strategic planning.
  • Experience working collaboratively with various stakeholders and presenting ideas.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Google affiliates.
  • Product management experience.

  • Master's degree, preferably an MBA.
  • Experience working at or with OEMs.
  • Proven strengths in strategic and critical thinking.
  • Strong research, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and manage concurrent projects independently.
