About the position

The Product Development/Supply Chain Manager at TechIntelli Solutions, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring effective communication with suppliers and internal teams to achieve operational excellence. This role involves managing vendor relationships, coordinating project management activities, and optimizing inventory and logistics processes to support the company's product development goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Maintain relationships with external partners to ensure timely delivery of components and materials, as well as finished goods.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies through daily communication and weekly conference calls.
  • Drive projects forward, monitoring product development from initiation to completion.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, designers, and finance to align development activities with business objectives.
  • Schedule and organize meetings to facilitate collaboration and ensure clear communication of project goals.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, timelines, and progress reports.
  • Generate regular status updates for internal stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and potential roadblocks.
  • Contribute to market research activities to identify trends, competitor products, and customer preferences.
  • Oversee the entire inventory lifecycle, developing strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce carrying costs.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of inventory.
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Coordinate transportation and shipping activities, including freight forwarding and customs clearance.
  • Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations.
  • Support the Order Management team in processing purchase orders and sales orders accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, product design, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (2-3 years minimum) in product development, project management, or related roles.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese to streamline communication with vendors.
