About the position

Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a Product Director for Market Development in Multiple Myeloma Marketing, located in Horsham, Pennsylvania. This role is pivotal in shaping the market development strategy and executing initiatives that will enhance the brand's presence in the healthcare sector. The Product Director will be responsible for generating insights and implementing market development initiatives that align with the company's goals in treating Multiple Myeloma. This position requires collaboration across various functions, including brand marketing, field sales, and other internal partners, to ensure the successful execution of key business initiatives. In this role, the Product Director will lead the development of the Market Development and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) strategy in close collaboration with the Therapeutic Area Leadership (TLL) team and the brand team for assigned brands. The individual will also spearhead the development of medical education and advisory board strategies that support the overall brand and portfolio strategies within Multiple Myeloma. A critical aspect of this position involves optimizing the speaker bureau to meet the needs of the assigned brands and portfolio, working in partnership with thought leader liaisons, medical education operations, and other key internal partners. The Product Director will be responsible for developing and executing speaker training programs in collaboration with the brand and medical education operations teams. Ensuring that strategies and tactics are developed in close partnership with Brand Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, and other internal partners is essential. Additionally, the role involves partnering with analytics and operations teams to track the utilization and impact of medical education tactics, making necessary adjustments based on feedback and insights from brand marketing and sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Development of Market Development & KOL strategy in close collaboration with TLL team and brand team for assigned brands
  • Lead development of medical education & advisory board strategy and tactics in support of the brand and portfolio strategies within Multiple Myeloma
  • Ensure speaker bureau is optimized to meet the needs of the assigned brands and portfolio within Multiple Myeloma in partnership with thought leader liaisons, medical education operations, and other key internal partners
  • Develop and execute speaker trainings in partnership with brand and medical education operations team
  • Ensure strategies and tactics are developed and performed in close partnership with Brand Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, and key internal partners
  • Partner with analytics and operations teams to track utilization and impact of medical education tactics and evolve as needed
  • Partner with brand marketing and sales to field insights and feedback on medical education tactics

Requirements

  • A minimum Bachelor's degree is required; MBA or advanced degree in related field is helpful
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant business experience, including pharmaceutical and healthcare knowledge
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Sales, Marketing, Managed Care Account Management, Pricing and/or related fields
  • Proven proficiencies in marketing, project management, and communication
  • Ability to travel up to 20%, which may include overnight and weekend travel
