About the position

Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a Product Director for Patient Marketing within the Prostate Portfolio, located in Horsham, PA. This role is pivotal in leading patient-focused strategies and executing marketing initiatives for ERLEADA and AKEEGA. The Product Director will be responsible for developing comprehensive marketing plans that encompass strategy, positioning, and messaging to achieve business goals while ensuring effective communication with patients and care partners in the marketplace. This position requires collaboration with a cross-functional team, including brand partners, field sales, internal stakeholders, and agency partners, to enhance patient support and activation strategies. In this role, the Product Director will focus on insight generation, strategy development, strategic media planning, content development, and tactical execution. The successful candidate will ensure that marketing assets and tactical plans are developed in close partnership with the Global Commercial Strategy Organization, Sales, Sales Learning & Development, Medical Affairs, and other key internal partners. Additionally, the Product Director will lead the development of content for sales meetings and ongoing field development to support brand strategies, as well as manage the patient branded media plan, ensuring rigorous measurement and optimization to drive efficiencies and business returns. The position also involves leading advisory boards, analytics, and market research to generate insights for marketing initiatives in collaboration with the insights and analytics team. This role is essential for driving the success of the Prostate Portfolio and making a significant impact on patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of comprehensive marketing plans, including strategy, positioning, and messaging to achieve business goals.
  • Ensure strategies, marketing assets, and tactical plans are developed in partnership with Global Commercial Strategy Organization, Sales, Sales Learning & Development, Medical Affairs, and key internal partners.
  • Develop content with the learning and development team for sales meetings and ongoing field development to support brand strategies.
  • Lead advisory boards, analytics, and market research to generate insights for marketing initiatives in partnership with the insights and analytics team.
  • Manage the patient branded media plan, ensuring rigorous measurement and optimization to drive efficiencies and business returns.

Requirements

  • A minimum Bachelor's degree is required; MBA or advanced degree in a related field is helpful.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant business experience, including pharmaceutical and healthcare knowledge.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Sales, Marketing, Managed Care Account Management, and/or related fields.
  • Proven proficiencies in marketing, project management, and clear communication.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%, which may include overnight and weekend travel.
