About the position

Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a Product Director for Patient Marketing within the Prostate Portfolio, located in Horsham, Pennsylvania. This role is pivotal in leading patient-focused strategies and execution for the products ERLEADA® and AKEEGA®. The Product Director will be responsible for developing comprehensive marketing plans that encompass strategy, positioning, and messaging to achieve business goals while ensuring effective communication and engagement with patients and care partners in the marketplace. In this position, the Product Director will collaborate closely with a cross-functional team that includes brand partners, field sales, internal stakeholders, and agency partners. The focus will be on creating optimal patient support and activation strategies, which will involve insight generation, strategic media planning, content development, and tactical execution. The role requires a strong emphasis on partnership with the Global Commercial Strategy Organization, Sales, Sales Learning & Development, Medical Affairs, and other key internal partners to ensure that marketing assets and tactical plans are effectively developed and executed. Additionally, the Product Director will lead advisory boards, analytics, and market research initiatives to generate insights that inform marketing strategies. This includes managing the patient branded media plan, ensuring rigorous measurement and optimization to drive efficiencies and business returns. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the marketing landscape for the Prostate Portfolio, ultimately aiming to enhance patient experiences and outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of comprehensive marketing plans, including strategy, positioning, and messaging to achieve business goals.
  • Ensure strategies, marketing assets, and tactical plans are developed in partnership with the Global Commercial Strategy Organization, Sales, Sales Learning & Development, Medical Affairs, and key internal partners.
  • Develop content with the learning and development team for sales meetings and ongoing field development to support brand strategies.
  • Lead advisory boards, analytics, and market research to generate insights for marketing initiatives in partnership with the insights and analytics team.
  • Manage the patient branded media plan, ensuring rigorous measurement and optimization to drive efficiencies and business returns.

Requirements

  • A minimum Bachelor's degree is required; MBA or advanced degree in a related field is helpful.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant business experience, including pharmaceutical and healthcare knowledge.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Sales, Marketing, Managed Care Account Management, and/or related fields.
  • Proven proficiencies in marketing, project management, and clear communication.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%, which may include overnight and weekend travel.
