About the position

The Product Distribution Support Specialist is responsible for managing the distribution of products to customers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. This role involves verifying product availability, creating sales orders, and maintaining shipment schedules for non-managed customers. The specialist also supports the Director of Product Distribution in the distribution of new and reordered products.

Responsibilities

• Manage the distribution of products to all customers.
• Verify product availability and create sales orders for customers.
• Maintain an accurate schedule of non-managed customer shipments.
• Provide support services to the Director of Product Distribution.
• Attend weekly meetings as necessary.
• Manage the daily reception of new items and add to Distribution Master by chain upon arrival.
• Schedule POs to ship in a timely manner for non-managed customers.
• Research and advise Sales Operations of product availability for non-managed customer orders.
• Prepare sales orders for non-managed customers and send to the warehouse for shipment.
• Review shipment of sales orders for non-managed customers and respond to inquiries.
• Work with IT to transition customers to the automated system.
• Create orders for managed customer shipments and new product distribution.
• Monitor new product arrival and facilitate distribution.
• Maintain POG assignments for products and individual stores.
• Create quick ships and manual shipments as needed.
• Manage inputs into the Replenishment System.
• Monitor and maintain weeks of supply levels.
• Communicate issues to the Director of Product Distribution.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of products.
• Understanding of the distribution process.
• Understanding of plan-o-grams.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and set priorities.
• Outstanding computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Good proactive communication skills.
