About The Position

The Product Engineer Controls at V2Soft is responsible for developing and testing hardware-in-the-loop systems for automotive embedded control systems. This role involves hands-on experience with various tools and technologies to ensure effective communication and collaboration within a team environment. The engineer will manage multiple tasks and timelines while delivering innovative solutions in a research-based setting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering.
• 3+ years' experience developing hardware in the loop systems for testing embedded control systems.
• 3+ years' experience developing or testing automotive electronic control systems.
• Hands-on experience with electronics lab equipment and tools.
• Demonstrated effective communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering.
• Experience delivering innovative solutions in a research-based environment.
• Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink modeling and simulation of plant and control systems.
• Experience with CAN/LIN/Ethernet tools and testing.
• Experience using modeling and simulation software tools such as Amesim, CarSim, or CarMaker.

Responsibilities

• Develop hardware-in-the-loop systems for testing embedded control systems.
• Utilize dSpace hardware and ControlDesk/ConfigurationDesk software for system integration.
• Conduct testing and validation of automotive electronic control systems.
• Create and execute test plans, scripts, and automation processes.
• Document and communicate findings and progress effectively within the team.
