About the position

The Product Engineering Manager will lead a small team in the development of advanced in-vitro instruments and solutions for the pharmaceutical industry. This role emphasizes teamwork and collaboration, ensuring that all engineering efforts align with the company's long-term goals and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Consult with senior leadership to create long-range operating and manufacturing goals
• Develop new products from concept to testing to production
• Re-work component builds using substitute materials
• Modify equipment to ensure that it is safe, reliable and efficient
• Collaborate with the marketing department to determine market potential for new products
• Oversee progress and timeliness of projects
• Ensure conformance with Quality Management System
• Act as Fulfilment representative to the Development-to-Fulfilment handoff process
• Review project reports to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget
• Plan and coordinate the work of engineering staff

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related experience
• 5+ years of engineering experience
• 2-5 years of engineering management experience
• Ability to be an active engineer and team leader
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Strong electro-mechanical aptitude
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and MS Office
