The Product Environmental Compliance Operations position at Copeland is pivotal in ensuring that our business operations align with environmental laws and regulations. This role is designed to develop and implement processes and procedures that will enable Copeland to maintain compliance with environmental standards while reinforcing our competitive market position. A significant aspect of this position involves effective communication and collaboration with various Copeland business units and our global teams, particularly in Cluj, Romania, and Manila, Philippines. The analyst will be responsible for defining clear expectations, processes, and deliverables for global product teams to ensure compliance with environmental laws. As a Product Environmental Compliance Operations Analyst, you will become the subject matter expert on Copeland's business processes related to Product Environmental Compliance activities. You will work closely with the Strategic Sustainability teams to understand regulatory requirements and implement necessary processes at the business level. This role requires guiding the new product process through cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, testing, procurement, operations, sales, and marketing, overseeing the execution of the overall business plan throughout various phases of the Product Part Approval Process (PPAP) and New Product Development (NPD). Additionally, you will develop and integrate systems for collaboration and sharing between business unit functions, entities, and regions. Your responsibilities will include creating seamless processes related to market mapping and compliance risk evaluation, ensuring the accuracy of compliance records, and managing activities associated with New Product Development and pre-production work. You will also lead and support activities related to the Copeland Product Environmental Compliance data and supplier systems, ensuring that business systems are developed to support the implementation and submission of global law requirements.
