About the position

As a Product Growth Analyst at Amplitude, you will support the Growth Product Managers by providing insights and analysis to enhance the self-serve customer journey from signup to purchase and long-term retention. Your role is critical in driving growth for the self-serve business, utilizing behavioral data to identify opportunities for improvement and contributing to the company's goal of increasing Net ARR.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth analysis to create actionable insights around customer journey patterns and product usage connecting product data with business outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with Growth PMs and Marketers to design, execute and improve bets and experiments across the entire self-serve customer journey.
  • Effectively develop and communicate recommendations based on analysis to the team and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Develop & refine metrics definitions, help forecast quarterly product metrics, run weekly reporting, and proactively surface updates when numbers are up/down.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience as a product or growth analyst.
  • Deep understanding of and experience with behavioral event data and deriving actionable insights from complex data sets.
  • Proficiency with SQL and extensive experience with data visualization and product analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Tableau, Looker).
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to elevate in-the-weeds data and insights to concrete growth opportunities.
  • Strong desire for continuous improvement and a passion for developing expertise in Product Analytics.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in analytics engineering - creating and managing data pipelines with dbt, python.
