About the position

As a Product Implementation Associate within the Commercial Bank at JP Morgan Chase, you will play a crucial role in managing the technical product onboarding experience for clients. This position requires a blend of project management expertise and a strong focus on client relations, as you will be responsible for overseeing complex technical treasury product implementations for clients from around the globe. Your primary goal will be to ensure a seamless and best-in-class experience for clients as they navigate the implementation process. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for clients, guiding them through the onboarding journey. You will utilize various communication tools such as Zoom and email to connect with clients, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in Relationship Management, Sales, Service, Operations, and Product Management. Your ability to manage client expectations and provide clear communication will be essential in ensuring that all parties are aligned throughout the implementation process. You will also be responsible for implementing mixed payable solutions, supporting clients with file mapping exercises, and collaborating with internal partners to streamline processes. Identifying business risks and taking ownership of issues as they arise will be a critical part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will scope client requests and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for treasury services, ensuring that all documentation is maintained using Microsoft Office tools and workflow systems. Your role will require creative problem-solving skills and the ability to escalate issues when necessary, all while managing timelines and dependencies to exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product implementation and training experience for assigned clients.
  • Meet and connect with clients through Zoom, Email, and other collaborative technologies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners in Relationship Management, Sales, Service, Operations, and Product Management.
  • Manage client and partner expectations and understanding throughout the implementation process.
  • Implement mixed payable solutions and support clients with file mapping exercises.
  • Work with partners in Operations and Product Management to streamline processes.
  • Identify instances of business risk and show ownership of issues when they arise.
  • Scope client requests and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for treasury services.
  • Use Microsoft Office tools to document meeting agendas, minutes, and project plans.
  • Utilize workflow tools for status updates and document repository.
  • Demonstrate creative problem solving and judgment, escalating when necessary.
  • Manage client and internal partner expectations by establishing timeliness and dependencies.

Requirements

  • 3 years of applicable experience in project management or technical implementations.
  • Technical project management experience or experience with complex treasury implementations.
  • Ability to clearly communicate, partner, and influence others towards a common goal.
  • Exhibit adherence to policy and procedures and meet or exceed established SLAs.
  • Comfort in using technology such as WebEx, Zoom, and other collaboration tools.
  • Experience in coaching or mentoring employees and managing conflict.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to adapt to change.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
  • Experience in Payments and Receivables or eagerness to learn.
  • Technical consulting or business analysis experience in ERP, systems integration, or API.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree.

  • Technical client consulting experience to support technical roles.
  • PMP or other Project Management Certifications.
