About the position

The Industrial Design position at Purely Prototype is primarily focused on product and packaging design. The role involves assisting the creative team with various tasks including design research, concept development, sketching, and ideation, all under the mentorship of the Creative Director. The selected candidate will engage in research activities, create concept sketches, and utilize SolidWorks for 3D modeling. Additionally, the role may involve creating 3D printed or foam prototype models, necessitating close collaboration with other industrial designers, packaging engineers, CAD designers, and product managers. During this engagement, the leadership at Purely Prototype will provide training and education on the fundamentals of packaging materials and design. Candidates are expected to have graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or Product Design and must present a portfolio showcasing relevant design work. Proficiency in Autodesk Sketchbook, SolidWorks, and the Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, and Keyshot) is essential. The ability to generate free-hand sketch concepts quickly is also a requirement. Candidates should possess a basic understanding of engineering and manufacturability constraints, along with strong communication skills, both verbal and written. A strong team focus and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders are crucial. The role demands the ability to manage confidential information, prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, and maintain excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Responsibilities

Requirements
