About the position

The Product Information Management (PIM) System Administrator at SLB is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the inriver PIM system and performing light work in the Sitecore CMS. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of product information across all platforms, enhancing customer experience and operational efficiencies. The administrator will collaborate with various teams to develop and execute marketing communications campaigns, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging that aligns with the company's core pillars. The ultimate goal is to elevate narratives and showcase the significance of SLB's offerings beyond mere products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the inriver PIM system and perform light work in Sitecore CMS.
  • Ensure accuracy and effectiveness of product information across all platforms.
  • Support the development and execution of marketing communications campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Communications teams to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Articulate the value proposition of products, services, and technologies to customers.
  • Create compelling stories that resonate with target audiences across divisions.
  • Provide marketing expertise to select effective channels for message delivery.
  • Measure and analyze campaign performance to optimize results.
  • Connect business objectives with marketing communication objectives.
  • Create and coordinate production of advertising and promotional materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing a PIM system, preferably inriver, and working knowledge of Sitecore CMS.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of managing projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent training and communication skills to effectively instruct and engage users.
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in documenting processes and creating detailed guides or manuals.
  • Experience in the oil and gas or energy sector is highly beneficial.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
  • Previous experience in a leadership role within a technology-driven environment.
