About the position

The Product Information Specialist at Perfection Hy-Test Company plays a crucial role in managing and maintaining product catalog data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards such as ACES and PIES. This position supports New Product Introductions (NPI) by collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline product data for new releases, contributing to the successful launch of automotive products.

Responsibilities

• Support New Product Introductions (NPI) by collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and refine data for new products.
• Coordinate with product management and marketing to facilitate smooth new product rollouts.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of product catalog data, including automotive application data and industry standards (ACES, PIES).
• Provide product and application-fitment data support to customers and sales teams by responding to inquiries and addressing concerns.
• Partner with teams to assess coverage gaps and recommend strategies for product introductions and catalog improvements.
• Assist in the distribution and quality control of digital assets, including images and product-related media for new product releases.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure data consistency and quality across platforms.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in catalog-related roles, particularly in vehicle mapping and part attribute management.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field (automotive, product management, information systems).
• Proficiency with Auto Care's ACES & PIES standards; familiarity with databases such as VCdb, PAdb, PCdb, and Qdb.
• Experience with PIM systems such as PartCat or similar.
• Strong understanding of automotive parts and product lifecycle management.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high attention to detail.
