About the position

As a Product Innovation Development Program Analyst/Associate within PNC's Product Innovation organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role is designed for recent university or college graduates who are looking to explore their potential through hands-on experience in a professional environment. The Product Innovation Development Program aims to transition analysts from development roles into product roles across PNC's various lines of business. This program provides a unique opportunity to gain exposure to PNC's entire suite of products and develop into a total business owner. In this position, you will work closely with product leaders who guide the vision, strategy, technology, and innovation necessary for profitable business growth. You will collaborate with experienced professionals from various functions, including sales, marketing, design, operations, and development, to understand the product lifecycle and how changes impact the firm, its customers, and shareholders. The program emphasizes learning through hands-on projects that address real-life banking challenges, allowing you to see how business goals are realized through technology tools. Your responsibilities will include identifying market trends, technology, and consumer insights to drive innovation, developing features that enhance customer financial wellbeing, and participating in the end-to-end review of product delivery while initiating process improvements. You will engage with multi-disciplinary teams and develop essential skills such as Agile development, project management, and professional presentations. The program also includes a comprehensive learning curriculum, interaction with senior management, and a robust mentorship program to support your professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Identify market trends, technology, and consumer insights to drive innovation.
  • Develop differentiated features that help customers address their financial wellbeing needs and provide an exceptional and easy experience.
  • Participate in the end-to-end review of how a product is delivered and initiate process improvement tasks.
  • Engage with multi-disciplinary teams including marketing, asset management, consumer banking, small business, finance, credit, digital and operations.
  • Develop skillsets including Agile development, project management, professional presentations, and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Preferred business relevant majors (e.g. Finance, Accounting, IT, Economics, Marketing, Math, Statistics, HR, Management, Communications, Business Law, Psychology, Logistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Actuarial Sciences) with a minimum GPA of 3.2.
  • Recent university/college graduates with little or no professional experience but possessing relevant skills.
