About the position

The Product Insights Analyst role at Google Customer Solutions focuses on providing data-driven insights and strategies to enhance the effectiveness of Google Ads products. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze customer needs, develop business strategies, and drive impactful decisions that support the growth of small- and medium-sized businesses. The analyst will utilize advanced analytics and business modeling to address challenges and shape the global strategy for Google Customer Solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide insights from sophisticated business analysis and advanced modeling.
  • Develop comprehensive product or business strategies that solve business challenges and address the needs of customers and stakeholders across various functions to drive incremental growth.
  • Communicate data-driven recommendations to leadership and to the broader organization by preparing presentations and identifying key takeaways.
  • Define actionable plans and roadmaps and align cross-functional stakeholders to drive successful implementation of change initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to drive implementation, track progress, and assess impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 4 years of experience managing cross-functional challenges with data analytics.
  • Experience with business modeling in spreadsheet and working with datasets using SQL.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Sciences, or a related quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience creating complex data sets, data modeling, and reporting.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment.
  • Experience with stakeholder management across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to develop a storyline, build presentation decks, and briefing documents that support insights.
