About the position

The Product Internship at American Modern Insurance Group offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the specialty insurance industry. Responsibilities

• Price and execute limited, full, complex, form and rule product reviews.
• Utilize knowledge of actuarial concepts, intent and proposal packet when analyzing proposed rating structures or marketing intelligence.
• Perform state specific research on competitors and needed territories for their review.
• Develop filings, rules, algorithms and supporting exhibits based on proposed changes.
• Complete marketing materials for state approved revisions.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Math, Finance, Business, Insurance Risk Management, or other applicable fields.
• Knowledge of Excel, MS Office Suite applications, and computer systems.
• Strong analytical abilities including mathematics and statistical concepts.
• Prefer local candidates (Cincinnati, OH) willing to work in the office on a hybrid schedule (40-50% of the time).
• Prefer candidates seeking internship 20-25hrs during school, and 40 hours during the summer.
