About the position

Our client, a leading Bio-Tech company in San Diego, is seeking a Project Coordinator to play a crucial role in organizing, coordinating, and preparing for upcoming product launches. This position involves working directly with Product Management and other functions across multiple workstreams to ensure successful commercialization of products. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, utilizing project management software tools to document meeting minutes, decisions, risks, and mitigations, and tracking and monitoring progress throughout the project lifecycle. In this role, you will assist with or lead the planning and execution of product commercialization efforts, ensuring that all aspects of the project are aligned and on schedule. You will be tasked with scheduling and managing meetings, composing and distributing project status reports and updates for the project manager and other management, and effectively communicating project details and assignments to team members and stakeholders. This position is remote, allowing for flexibility while working within the Pacific Time zone, and is offered as a 5-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, particularly within a commercial organization, and experience with product launches. A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in life sciences, along with at least three years of relevant experience in project management. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 3 years in Project Management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and MS Office tools
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in life sciences
  • Experience in a commercial organization
  • Experience with product launches
