About the position

As a Junior to Mid-Level Project Manager within our Real-World Evidence (RWE) group, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing IT systems related to RWE initiatives. This position is remote and is expected to last for a duration of three years. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, aligning them with business goals, and efficiently utilizing IT resources. With 3 to 6 years of experience, you will contribute to the planning, execution, and management of various IT projects that support RWE activities. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and executing project plans for IT systems within the RWE group, ensuring timely delivery and meeting project objectives. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Maintaining clear and open communication with stakeholders, including RWE teams, IT specialists, and other relevant departments, will be essential. You will provide regular project updates, address concerns, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. In addition, you will collaborate with RWE teams to gather and analyze IT system requirements, working closely with technical teams to translate business needs into technical specifications. You will oversee the implementation and maintenance of IT systems crucial to RWE activities, including PowerApps and SharePoint, ensuring that these systems meet security and compliance standards. Identifying and mitigating project risks related to IT systems will be part of your role, as well as developing contingency plans to ensure project success under varying conditions. Quality assurance will also be a key aspect of your responsibilities, as you will implement and oversee quality assurance processes for IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction. You will conduct testing and validation to meet RWE data integrity standards. Additionally, you will collaborate with external vendors for IT system implementations, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget constraints, and evaluate and select vendors based on project requirements. Finally, maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, project plans, and post-implementation reports, will be crucial, along with generating regular progress reports and key performance indicators.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Project Management, or related field.
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in project management, preferably within a pharmaceutical RWE environment.
  • Understanding of IT systems, including PowerApps, SharePoint, and other technical systems relevant to RWE activities.
  • Familiarity with RWE data sources, collection methods, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
