The Product Licensing Lead at S&P Global Market Intelligence plays a pivotal role in supporting licensing deals with a diverse range of domestic and international clients, including those in Investment Management, Investment Banking, Insurance, Commercial Banking, Non-Financial Corporates, and Government Agencies. This position is integral to the Credit & Risk Solutions (C&RS) team, which is focused on driving significant growth within the Market Intelligence Division, aiming to reach a $1 Billion business globally by 2026. The Product Licensing Lead will collaborate closely with Product, Commercial, and Legal teams to generate sales leads, mitigate potential losses, and enforce licensing governance and compliance. This involves reviewing and evaluating licensing deal terms and contracts to protect S&P's proprietary data rights. Key responsibilities include providing expert insights on licensing terms and deal analysis to support Commercial teams across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. The role requires drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal contracts to ensure consistency in deal terms and pricing across various clients and industries. The Product Licensing Lead will also identify and create new sales opportunities, provide recommendations for escalations related to potential unlicensed or non-permitted use, and promote a culture of compliance by educating stakeholders on best practices. This position is essential for maintaining the integrity of S&P's licensing agreements and ensuring that the company adheres to its compliance obligations while fostering growth in its credit solutions offerings.
