About the position

The Product Line Manager Analyst internship at Salesforce is designed for undergraduate students who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in data and analytics. Interns will work on real projects that impact the business, collaborating with global teams to design innovative solutions using Salesforce software products. This role offers a unique opportunity to rotate through various tasks, providing a comprehensive understanding of the Data & Analytics function within the company.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data, conduct surveys, and participate in focus groups to gather business needs and requirements.
• Write functional specifications for new capabilities based on users' needs.
• Document and communicate necessary information to engineers for solution design.
• Adapt to evolving business requirements and collaborate with engineers to design optimal solutions.
• Write User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
• Utilize Agile and Iterative methodologies during the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Coordinate and schedule cross-functional activities with other teams.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or other relevant majors.
• Expected graduation between Winter 2024 and Spring 2025.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• Strong listening skills and willingness to ask questions for clarity.
• Keen attention to detail and diligent follow-up on tasks.
• Self-starter with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work in a virtual and global environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including business process analysis, requirements and design, data modeling, functional design, test planning, and UAT execution.
