About the position
Onsemi is seeking a dynamic and experienced Strategic Program Lead to oversee and drive the execution of our EV Traction programs with key OEMs in North America. This pivotal role will involve leading cross-functional teams, managing key customer relationships, and ensuring the successful development and delivery of innovative traction power solutions for the electric vehicle (EV) market. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of power electronics, especially in traction inverters, and a proven track record in managing complex programs from conception to market launch.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute EV traction programs with key OEMs in North America
- Manage key customer relationships to ensure successful program execution and delivery
- Ensure the successful development and delivery of innovative traction power solutions for the EV market
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize program requirements and opportunities
- Develop and manage program budgets and resource allocation plans
- Coordinate with external partners and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of program components and services
Requirements
- Deep understanding of power electronics, especially in traction inverters
- Proven track record in managing complex programs from conception to market launch
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred
